Winning More Clients with Print and Online Presence

During the MCO, printing companies were not allowed to operate, so I took the initiative to attend a course in web page design. In addition to learning WordPress for webpage development, the course also delved into internet marketing strategies such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads.

The lecturer emphasized that due to Covid-19, the internet would become paramount in business, replacing traditional printed materials like brochures and leaflets. This paradigm shift sparked an internet evolution, challenging the relevance of commercial printing.

However, despite the internet’s rise, the question remained: Can it truly benefit your business? While the World Wide Web emerged as a groundbreaking platform for business visibility, our own experience with a webpage over two decades yielded minimal business results. The webpage primarily served as an information hub for clients to discover our packaging box printing services.

In Malaysia’s saturated packaging box printing market, online price comparisons often led to a race to the bottom, damaging the industry’s integrity.

Business Communication

Selecting a reliable supplier involves more than browsing a website. Questions about their reliability and capabilities demand answers, emphasizing the importance of face-to-face meetings and presentations for establishing trust.

While some view traditional business practices as outdated, the significance of personal communication remains unparalleled, something the internet cannot replicate.

Why Print is Still Important?

In business, first impressions matter. Refusing to provide a printed brochure when asked reflects poorly on professionalism and undermines trust. A physical brochure holds tangible value, especially in significant investments like buying a car, where customers rely on detailed research and comparisons.

A website alone cannot replicate the tactile experience of studying brochures, highlighting the enduring importance of print in driving business growth.

Packaging Box is Irreplaceable

The packaging box serves as a tangible representation of your product, influencing consumer perceptions and choices. Tailoring the box design to reflect the product’s nature is crucial, ensuring it aligns with consumer expectations.

Moreover, the choice of materials and colors significantly impacts consumer perception, emphasizing the need for thoughtful design and construction.

Paper Bag

Providing customers with a branded paper bag not only facilitates convenience but also serves as free advertising as they carry it around. This simple gesture enhances brand visibility and fosters customer loyalty.

FSC and Soy Ink Printing

Environmental consciousness is increasingly valued by consumers. Opting for FSC printing and soy ink not only demonstrates commitment to sustainability but also attracts eco-conscious customers.

Final Thoughts

Innovation is essential, but traditional methods still hold value. Embracing both internet marketing and print materials maximizes business growth potential. In marketing, as in transportation, reinventing the wheel may not always be necessary — combining the best of both worlds ensures success.
